Mom : Sam, do you have a girlfriend?
Sam : Yes, *Girl 1*.
Mom : *Girl 1*??? Why is she your girlfriend? Why not *Girl 2*? Is she pretty?
Sam : No, because *Girl 1* gave me a present.

Modern Times
Mom realised that Sam does not know the concept of free to air TV when he asked mom to hit the pause button....and could not understand why mom said it was not possible.
